At Workingbodies we have designed our programmes with health in mind. Our classes are not just exercise classes they are targeted programmes designed around specific common needs for everyday life, and the often troublesome areas of the body that need looking after.
Our Programmes run for a block of 10 weeks and are designed to be progressively challenging and increasingly intense. As our classes are very small and bespoke – up to 5 people maximum, you can guarantee individual attention, which means effective modifications for injuries and a much more focussed approach – so very much personal training but with company!
Our instructors will tailor the classes to the individuals that are participating which makes the whole 10 week programme effective and personal and building blocks for better health and fitness.
You can even have a fitness assessment beforehand so you can track your progress throughout the 10 weeks.
We our pride ourselves on the constant encouragement and emphasis of good form thorough our classes, teaching you to use your true core to prevent back injuries, targeting muscles which help support cardiovascular based activities and preventing injury.. correct warming up and cooling down and the importance of effective stretching, along with proper nutrition and hydration – all of which are commonly overlooked and neglected.
Drawing on her experiences of Yoga, Katherine presents a bespoke class dedicated to the fundamentals of one of the oldest forms of Yoga. Emphasising good practice and a solid foundation to build on.
Iyengar inspired Yoga – Monday 6.15pm
All our Pilates classes are designed around a clinical reasoning behind this progressive form of exercise that is grounded from the control of movement. We provide bespoke classes for 4-5 participants only to fully ensure you have the attention to learn strong and correct movements whilst performing and sequence of exercises.
We also offer one to one sessions for anyone that is new to Pilates or just wants to make sure that they are receiving a program specifically designed for them, we offer this as a rehabilitation protocol to our patients also.
